Moc Wrestlers Picked Third In Preseason Poll

It’s quite a week for the Chattanooga Mocs wrestling program. The Mocs are ready to hit Finley Stadium tailgating Saturday prior to the football team’s “White Out” matchup against ETSU. Junior Noah Castillo is in Albania prepping for the World Championships with Team Puerto Rico.

And the Southern Conference released its preseason coaches poll and all-conference teams for 2023-24.

The Mocs are the winningest program in league history. There are 17 regular season and 29 tournament titles in 46 seasons in the league along with more than 150 individual champions. 

This year’s edition is once again expected to compete for crowns. The squad is picked third closely behind App State in second. Campbell is the early prognostication by the league coaches. The full list (1st-place votes):
